Refund policy
Try it free first. If a paid plan turns out not to be for you, ask within 7 days and we refund 90% of what you paid for it.
- Window
- 7 days from the charge
- You get back
- 90% of the plan price
- Reason needed
- None
This policy forms part of our Terms of service. It applies to every paid plan: Pro monthly, Pro yearly and Lifetime.
Try before you pay
The free tier exists so that nobody has to buy blind. 3 copies, no card, full-fidelity conversion into any builder we support. Nothing is watermarked, downgraded or held back for the paid plans. What it does not do is copy a whole page in a single pass. If wpgraft is not going to work for what you build, you will usually know before you spend anything.
The 7-day refund
Ask within 7 days of the charge and we refund 90% of the price of the plan. You do not need to justify the request. “it is not for me” is enough.
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions: 90% of the most recent charge, if you ask within 7 days of that charge. The subscription is cancelled at the same time.
- Lifetime: 90%, if you ask within 7 days of purchase. The licence ends when the refund is issued.
- Renewals: a renewal charge is refundable on exactly the same terms as a first charge. If a renewal caught you by surprise, say so; we would rather refund it than argue about it.
The window runs from the charge, not from cancelling
Cancelling part-way through a paid period does not refund the remainder of it. Cancel a yearly plan on day 200 and nothing comes back, but your access runs to day 365, and you are not charged again. The 7 days above are counted from the day the money left your account.
Why 90% and not 100%
Because a reversed sale is not a sale that never happened. The payment processing and merchant-of-record fees charged when you bought are not returned to us when we refund you. Card networks, our payment provider and the merchant of record that handles tax compliance each take their cut on the way in, and keep it on the way out. A full refund therefore costs us real money on every single one, and that bill ends up in the price everybody else pays.
The 10% we retain covers those non-recoverable costs and the handling of the refund itself. It is not a restocking fee, not a penalty for changing your mind, and it never applies to the full-refund cases below. Where the problem is ours or the law requires it, you get everything back.
How the 90% is calculated
The 10% is taken from the price of the plan, not from the tax. Tax is money we collect for a tax authority and never keep, so it is not part of the calculation and not part of what we retain. The tax on the refunded portion goes back to you with it.
Worked example, on a $20 plan sold in a country with 10% tax:
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| Plan price | $20.00 |
| Tax collected at checkout | $2.00 |
| You were charged | $22.00 |
| Refund of the plan: 90% of $20, not of $22 | $18.00 |
| Tax refunded with it | $1.80 |
| You receive | $19.80 |
| We retain (fees) | $2.00 |
The rate and the base do not change with the tax rate: 90% always means 90% of the ex-tax plan price. Your Polar receipt shows the split, so you can check the arithmetic against your own numbers.
When you get 100% back
The 10% deduction is for changing your mind. It does not apply when:
- you were charged twice, or charged after cancelling;
- a charge was not authorised by you;
- we failed to deliver: the Service was unavailable or unusable for a material part of the period you paid for, and we could not put it right;
- we terminated your account without cause, or discontinued a plan you had prepaid;
- we made a materially adverse change to the Services or to the price and you cancelled because of it; the unused part of your prepaid period comes back in full, pro rata, as our Terms of service provide;
- the law says so. See “Your statutory rights” below.
These cases apply to a Lifetime licence exactly as they do to a subscription. A Lifetime purchase has no billing period to pro-rate, so what replaces a pro-rata refund if we ever discontinue wpgraft is the 6 months’ notice promised in section 9.6 of the Terms. But a duplicate charge, an unauthorised charge or a failure to deliver is refunded in full whatever the plan.
After 7 days
Beyond 7 days we do not refund as a matter of course, but we do look at individual cases, and every situation in the list above is put right whenever it comes to light. A duplicate charge does not stop being a duplicate because a month passed. Otherwise, cancel any time from your dashboard: you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing you have already imported is affected.
Where a refund is not available
- Accounts terminated for a breach of the acceptable-use or copyright terms in our Terms of service.
- Repeat refund requests on the same account, where the pattern is buying, refunding and buying again.
- Dissatisfaction with a specific conversion where you have not given us the chance to look at it. File a report first. Fidelity bugs are usually fixable, and often quickly.
- Conversions already spent. A refund ends the plan; it does not un-import the pages you built with it, and we do not bill you for them either.
How to ask
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, or use the contact form. Include the order number from your Polar receipt if you have it. We answer within one business day. You do not need to give a reason, but if something specific went wrong we would like to know. It is usually a bug we can fix.
How long it takes
Refunds are issued through Polar, our merchant of record, back to the original payment method. We cannot send one anywhere else. We process them within 2 business days of approval; the money typically appears within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. Refunds are made in the currency you were charged in, and we are not responsible for a shortfall caused by your bank’s exchange rate or its own fees.
Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please write to us before disputing the charge with your bank. A refund takes a day; a chargeback takes weeks, costs a fee that this policy’s 10% was never meant to cover, and may suspend your account while it is outstanding.
Your statutory rights
This policy sits on top of the law, never in place of it
Where this policy and your legal rights differ, the law wins and we apply it without argument.
Consumers in the EU, the UK and other jurisdictions with a statutory right of withdrawal from distance contracts normally have 14 days to withdraw, with a full refund including tax.
For digital services that right can be lost, but only once the service has been fully performed, after you expressly asked us to begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you would lose the right when performance completed. That is what you confirm at checkout so that you can convert immediately rather than waiting two weeks. Simply starting to use a plan does not end the right, and a subscription that is still running has not been fully performed. Where the right applies and has not been lost, you get 100% back, less at most a proportionate amount for the part of the service you actually used before withdrawing, and this policy does not reduce it.
Our 7-day, 90% offer is a voluntary commercial one that applies in every case, including the many where no statutory right exists at all. Where both are available to you, you may rely on whichever gives you more.
Polar, our merchant of record, is the seller and the party that took your money, and its checkout is where the pre-contractual information and the withdrawal notice for your country are given to you. If you did not receive them, tell us. A right you were never informed of is not a right you lose.
We are established in Bosnia and Herzegovina and have no branch, agent or other establishment in the EU, the EEA or the UK. That changes nothing about the paragraphs above: a statutory right you hold is a right against the seller regardless of where the seller sits. There is no local office to route the request through. Send it to us and we will act on it.
If you believe a statutory right entitles you to more than this policy gives, write to [email protected] and say so. We would rather apply it than have you argue for it.
Changes to this policy
We may change this policy for future purchases. The version in force when you paid is the one that governs your refund. A change never applies backwards to a charge already made. The version number and effective date are printed at the top of this page, and any earlier version is available from [email protected] on request.
